SRC 176: X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

When your superhero origin film plays more like bad Reddit fan fiction than it does a compelling adventure story, you know you've clawed your way into the Restroom...

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE deals with Marvel's most famous X-Man (Hugh Jackman) as he embarks on a journey across time to become the Wolverine we know and love, all the while battling his more savage brother (Liev Schreiber). What follows are 107 minutes of rage acting, unfinished CGI effects, wirework fight scenes, and actor Ryan Reynolds pregaming is Deadpool character by playing the worst version of that character here.

This comic book reject mess is available for streaming on YouTube and Vudu, but as always, you're better off leaving the cheap CGI claws to us and go watch Jackman's swan song as LOGAN instead.

Our special guest this time out is author and historian, Jay Sandlin.  In addition to his first children's book, Little Wolfie Of Riverhill School, he's also the host of a brand new podcast called, #WhoWouldWin, which pits various heroes and villains against each other in fictional battles.

Sit back now and give a listen as Griffin, Polton, & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE...
