SRC 188: Surviving Christmas (2004)

JINGLE TURDS month continues!  When your holiday farce plays more like a deranged lunatic off his prescription meds than it does a warm Christmas tale of family, you know you've American Psycho-ed your way into the Restroom...

SURVIVING CHRISTMAS deals with a self absorbed ad man (Ben Affleck) who hires a family living in his childhood home to keep him company for Christmas.  What follows are 90 minutes of obvious studio sets, unfunny jokes, sitcom level plot twists, manic acting, and SOPRANOS' James Gandolfini with a constantly irritated expression like he was being held at gunpoint for most of the shoot.

This sour eggnog mess is currently available for streaming on Amazon and YouTube, but as always, you're better off leaving this Xmas nightmare to us and go watch NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION again instead.

Our special guest this time out is Copper Yuenger from the Life Under The Laundry Pile podcast.

Sit back now and give a listen as Griffin & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, SURVIVING CHRISTMAS...
