SRC 019: Zombie Apocalypse (2010)

When your entire film looks like it was shot over spring break at a community college somewhere in Michigan, it might be time to reconsider some career choices...

Zombie Apocalypse deals with two college idiots who find themselves in the middle of the aforementioned undead apocalypse on their way to a local bar one evening.  Throw in a few unattractive chicks and a mysterious agent who keeps talking like Antonio Banderas, and you have the makings of one big cinematic turd.  Walking Dead this is NOT.

This soul killer is available right now for streaming on Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, but please, listen to us before you wander down an unknown path.  Some turds can never been unseen.

Our first special guest this time out is David Fienup, a sound designer who was responsible for every bit of godawful sound fx, ADR recording, and music heard in the above cinematic turd.  Amazingly, he's not hard of hearing.

Our second special guest is Ryan Thompson, the Michigan based director of this turd.  Thompson went on to direct a bunch of other crap no one has ever heard of, including the sequel to this mess, Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption!  Films like this one are living proof no one in greater Michigan has any taste in films.

Sit back now and give a listen as Honor, Kate & Kris flush you down the cinematic bowl with Zombie Apocalypse...
