SRC 106: Beowulf (1999)

When your sci-fi/fantasy epic poem adaptation plays more like a HIGHLANDER sequel with a bad dye job than it does a thrilling adventure, you know you've backflipped your way into the Restroom...

BEOWULF deals with a pesky Grendel who rampages through a futuristic castle killing everyone off one by one until a lone warrior named Beowulf (Christopher Lambert) shows up to wipe out the threat once and for all.  Many gymnastics moves and clunky fight scenes to follow.

This epic poem mess is available for streaming on Netflix, VUDU, and YouTube, but as always, you're better off leaving the foam rubber nightmares to us and finding some other cinematic gym to bust out your fight moves.

Sit back now and give a listen as Griffin, Crest, & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, BEOWULF...
