SRC 148: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows (2016)

When your live action adaption of a goofy 80's cartoon plays more like a snack time treat at daycare center than it does a thrilling action blockbuster, you know you've cowabunga-ed your way into the Restroom...

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS deals with four CGI burn victim turtles who once again are called upon to save New York when Shredder (Brian Tee) escapes from prison and teams up with Krang (a talking hemorrhoid from another dimension) to wipe out mankind.  What follows are 112 minutes of lame jokes, boring CGI battles, cartoon level screenwriting, yet another portal in the sky over a major city, and MADEA's Tyler Perry trading one ridiculous character for another.

This CGI demo reel is available for streaming on VUDU and YouTube, but as always, you're better off leaving this cinematic turtle soup to us and go watch the still enjoyable 1990 TMNT film instead.

Joining us as part of our extended co-flushing team this time out are Brandan Haize & Anthony Dynar, the Low Score boys from YouTube's Torturevision channel.  Low Score essentially does for videogames what we do for films here in the Restroom.  Check them out!

Sit back now and give a listen as Griffin, Crest, & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS...
