SRC 174: Ghost In The Shell (2017)

When your live action adaption of a beloved anime classic plays more like dining at P.F. Chang's that it does actually eating in Japan, you know you've cyborg-ed your way into the Restroom...

GHOST IN THE SHELL deals with Major (Scarlett Johannson), a cyborg with a human mind who's tasked with finding out who's killing the employees of a large robotics corporation. What follows are 107 minutes of whitewashed acting, skin tight yoga outfits, do-it-yourself wigs, and veteran actress Juliette Binoche showing up just long enough to make her next mortgage payment.

This cultural appropriation turd is currently available for streaming on Amazon and YouTube, but as always, you're better off leaving the warmed over anime to us and go watch the original GHOST IN THE SHELL instead.

Joining us as part of our extended co-flushing team this time out is Paul Hawkins from the BlokeBusters podcast.

Sit back now and give a listen as Griffin, Muro, & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, GHOST IN THE SHELL...
