SRC 023: 3 Musketeers (2011)

When you take a highly acclaimed classic novel and dumb it down into a cheap, modern day spy thriller, this turd is what you end up with...

3 Musketeers transforms the four heroes from Dumas's story into government secret agents who can't shoot or fight worth and damn.  This Asylum masterpiece retains their original names, yet dispenses with things like a coherent plot, witty banter, and their iconic swords (save for two lame fight sequences).  When even the villain (former LA Law star Alan Rachins) looks bored by the proceedings, you know you're not in for a swashbuckling good time.

This unholy bastardization of a classic novel is currently available for streaming on Netflix, VUDU, and Amazon Instant Video, but as always, save yourself from this cinematic torture and just listen to us, instead.  We are professionals, after all.

Our special guest this time out is LA based actor Peter Story, who previously assisted with the flushing of his own film Cornered! a while back (HERE).  Story is currently headlining a one man show traveling the country based on Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.  You would think he had better things to do than suffer in the cinematic bowl with us, but apparently not.

Sit back now and give a listen as Honor, Kate, & Kris flush you down the cinematic bowl with 3 Musketeers...
