SRC 024: A Haunting In Salem (2011)

When the haunted house on the above poster doesn't match the one featured in the film, you know you're going to eventually end up here in the Restroom...

A Haunting In Salem deals with a newly appointed sheriff (Bill Oberst Jr.) and his family moving into a historic house haunted by ghost witches who specialize in killing sheriffs and their families in gruesome ways. Not surprisingly, it isn't long before history once again repeats itself and we're forced to watch dumb characters die over and over, but not before they run up and down the same flight of stairs fifty times.

This snoozefest is currently available to stream on Netflix, VUDU, and Amazon Instant Video, but save yourself the coma and just listen to our show.  We attend therapy on a regular basis.

Our special guest this time out is Bill Oberst Jr., who plays the lead character Wayne Downs in this cinematic turd.  This busy actor is fast becoming a veteran in the industry, having appeared in such unforgettable films as Nude Nuns With Big Guns and Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies.  He also can be seen in the YouTube short, Cold Dead Hand with Jim Carrey.  Seems he's just one hemorrhoid commercial away from a lifetime achievement award.

Sit back now and give a listen as Honor, Kate, & Kris flush you down the cinematic bowl with, A Haunting In Salem...
