SRC 167: Herbie Fully Loaded (2005)

When your sentient car fantasy plays more like a rejected TRANSFORMERS audition than it does a family friendly adventure, you know you've revved your way into the Restroom...

HERBIE FULLY LOADED deals with a college graduate (Lindsay Lohan) who finds herself the owner of the famous sentient Love Bug a month before she's off to New York to start a new job, who then takes her on the ride of her life. What follows are 101 minutes of physics free stunts, distracting boomies, boring race sequences, and actor Michael Keaton scratching his head over how he spent that BEETLEJUICE money so fast and wound up doing this turd to cover his mortgage payment.

This used car turd is available for streaming on Amazon and HBO GO (for free), but as always, you're better off leaving this cinematic lemon to us and go watch any (or all) of the TRANSFORMERS films again instead.

Our special guest this time out is Donna Lee Hume, one half of the hosting team from the Varmints! podcast.  Varmints! is an educational comedy show that covers all types of critters found on this big blue planet of ours.

Sit back now and give a listen as Griffin, Crest, & Knight flush you down the Cinematic Bowl with, HERBIE FULLY LOADED...
